Overview

Restaurant & Lounge Club Es Blanc offers a refined taste of Mediterranean coastal cuisine right in the heart of Blanes, Girona. Nestled mere steps from the sea along Carrer del Mirador de s'Auguer, its prime location affords diners stunning views of the shimmering Mediterranean and the rugged local cliffs. This setting shapes much of the experience here, inviting both locals and travelers to unwind in an atmosphere that balances sophistication with coastal charm.

The menu is a celebration of fresh, regional ingredients brought to life with contemporary flair. Standout dishes include the Norwegian Salmon Tartare and the traditional Galician Beef Tartare elevated with mascarpone, showcasing a thoughtful range that appeals to both seafood lovers and meat enthusiasts. Classics like Paella De Cranc I Sèpia and Arroz Con Nécora Y Calamar underline the restaurant’s Mediterranean roots, while small plates such as Breaded Squid with Citrus Mayonnaise and Mejillones Al Vapor offer flavorful bites ideal for sharing. The dessert selection, including Chocolate En 3 Texturas and homemade Iberian ham croquettes, rounds out the culinary journey with clever textures and local seasoning.

Beyond the food, the lounge component enhances the overall vibe, especially as the sun dips behind the horizon. Cocktails like the Mojito Mangue and Sangria de Cava are crafted with care, complementing the fresh seafood and lively terrace setting. The bar is well appointed, though some guests have noted limited tonic varieties for gin, which slightly restricts the cocktail breadth for connoisseurs.

The space itself is expansive, spotlessly clean, and perfectly suited for a diverse crowd—from solo diners seeking a quick espresso paired with spectacular sea views to groups indulging in shared platters during balmy summer evenings. Its proximity to the beach and nearby attractions makes it an accessible choice for those exploring the Costa Brava.

Service quality is mostly strong, with attentive and amicable staff adding to the welcoming atmosphere, though a few visitors have experienced slower attention when the restaurant is less busy. The need for reservations is recommended, especially during peak times, to avoid waiting at the bar where ordering might feel less personal.

Restaurant & Lounge Club Es Blanc melds location, fresh Mediterranean flavors, and a stylish setting. It’s a place to savor good wine, well-made cocktails, and thoughtfully prepared dishes while soaking in the maritime ambiance. Ideal for casual lunches, relaxed drinks, or evening gatherings, it continues to draw praise for its culinary highlights and inviting vibe, promising return visits for those eager to explore more of its flavorful offerings.

This lounge club is a very attractive place to have a drink or a light meal during hot summer days and I'm sure that the ambience during the evenings must be great. They've also got a range of vegan ice creams. Prices are a little on the higher side but the place is perfectly clean, ample and the location couldn't be better just a metre off the beach and close to the majestic rocks of Blanes. The fifth star was removed as we had to wave to the waiter at least four times until we were able to pay the bill and it wasn't very crowded. We felt like other tables with more people were given preference. We'd still come back to try some more items on the menu.

Nice restaurant with views, cool for drinks. Good service and the food is ok. We liked the salmon tartare, the meat, but the veggie burger was not great. The bread was cold and old. The rest was fine

It's too bad no R...l Bliss or F...r Tree tonic to mix a lot of choice of Gin. The waiter are friendly and highly skilled. Amazing you can taste creps cooked on a genuine Krampouz! Very good cocktails. Close the beach and not so far the free Blanes parking

Nice place right by the sea. Great selection of food, yet be ready that lots of options are for at least 2 people (if you are a solo traveller you won't be able to try everything). Better make a reservation, otherwise you will be asked to sit by the bar for a while but the bartender won't even ask if you want something (that's the only unpleasant part of my visit tbh, the rest was good and that's the reason for 4* for service). The food was good and served quite fast considering that the restaurant was busy. Rose wine was amazing and probably this place had the most tasty espresso in the neighborhood.

Beautiful location right on the beach, and modern decor and vibe in the restaurant. Food was very tasty and service was quick. Only feedback is that the octopus doesn’t come with a side despite being the same size and price as all the other entrees and saying it came with potatoes on the menu. A bit strange to just eat with nothing else, so had to order a side separately.

Absolutely outstanding experience! The service was perfect – friendly, attentive, and incredibly professional. The timing of everything was spot on; we never felt rushed or left waiting. As for the food – it was an absolute 10/10. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Highly recommended, and I can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic beachfront restaurant amazing views. Glass window walls allow you to view the sea while you eat. The food was very good. Muscles tasted great with a smoked flavour. Fried egg in truffled oil amazing. The double smash burger was top tier. You can't go wrong going to this establishment. We didn't speak much spanish but the staff were very helpful.
